3-2-1.. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Okay. For this year's new year, I was the one assigned to prepare our dinner cue to extraordinary circumstances like Papa delivering the fireworks while Mama assures the store is in good condition. Kuya, on the other hand was at work. Can you believe it? Kuya is working. He's earning cash! Wish I could do a job too.
Anyway, I prepared potato salad and spaghetti for dinner. It was good. But I don't know if they were just telling that because I'm their daughter or what. Papa made the hot chocolate. My favorite!
So, this year, we didn't launch fireworks..again. We were all so tired and exhausted.
Did I mention? Chi's wife, Jane, gave birth to their first born! It was a boy! Marc IƱigo is the name. My mom call him Baby Pio, from St. Pio of Pietrelcina. Why? Well, she believed the child experienced St. Pio's miracle. And so did he. He suffered an infection but made it through. Whew!
That's it for today, I think.
Gonna blog again some other time about our trip to Palawan and more..SOON. :D
God bless!

LATE Christmas Blog. :D
Okay. Laziness strikes me. So damn tired of, guess what, eating, sleeping and surfing the net. HAHA! I know right? So, I didn't get a chance to visit my site. Darn. So much things to tell! Must start to make this blog a habit, NOW. :D
So, to start things, let me tell you `bout my Christmas. :D
Yehey! It's one of he most awaited times of the year. Christmas WAS finally over. For Christmas, we celebrated with, well, not so many foods, and we did not actually wait and prepared for it. It was different, actually. Not having Mommy around. It's like something's been missing. Christmas wouldn't be complete without the macaroni and queso de bola of Mommy. Well at least Chichi volunteered to make the macaroni instead. We had carbonara, macaroni, ham and hot chocolate for our Noche Buena. The usual food we prepare. Though it's not that extravagant.
Then, when darkness came, my Tito Michael and his family arrived. They will be celebrating Christmas here. According to them, for us not to feel the sadness of Mommy being gone. They were right. We had such a pleasant time altogether.
Something sad this year was, that I am missing the one gift I've always been waiting for. Mommy's annual gift. For me, it was like a ritual. A tradition. To receive her gift was like a main dish to me. Well, I know now at least that she's perfectly fine.
On the other side, I feel so much happy. This Christmas, is the first "official" Christmas of me and Rommel together. `Cause I remember the first one didn't actually work out. No, we were not really together as in "together". I mean, we are "in" a relationship that's finally working pretty well. And, guess what I got for him, a hug box! I really can't think of something to give him. Good thing he loved it.
So, nothing really so special happened that day. Just felt like sharing.
God bless!
