Today is the birthday of the most important man in my life. He's my boy. :">
Okay. I prepared for this day for weeks. I decided to give him a little surprise, in return of what he had done for me. Though I planned this a week before my birthday.
Okay. To start. My plan was to give him a BIG card. It will have letters from his closest friends. Then I'll be making a cake, personally designed for him. Then, I will search for anything, a pillow or shirt, that should finish the gift package. I consulted lots of his and my friends. And they all lead me to one gift. A boxers shorts. Okay. It was a little humiliating for a girl like me to buy undies for a guy. But I thought it would be cute to give him boxers for my gift.
The Preparation:
First I got to gather the materials I need to make the card. In these, I made a 1/4 and two 1/8 illustration boards. I taped it in place to get the desired look of the giant card. Then, I got some scrap booking materials for the design. I bought lots of papers, which I will give to the persons who will greet him.
Then, I bought my gifts. I asked for the help of my brother's girlfriend. They accompanied me to the mall and helped me find the right one. I found a really cute one in Dickie's and a striking pink one in Bench. I bought them both `cause I know he will love it too.
Then I met with my xiis, Kir. I asked her what else can I give, `cause it seems not enough. I've decided to give him a pillow, because it will be awkward to give him a stuffed toy. Anyway. She helped me choose from the many pillows there. And finally, I found the perfect one. wanted to give him BIG things, so I got a really BIG pillow.
After that, we went home. When the day got nearer, I was cramming at my gift, so I got up all night. Finally, before his day. I made the cake. It was simple, yet he liked it. They said it tasted good. Haha. Atleast, he liked it.
BTW, I also got a simple card for him, which served as an alias for him not to expect anything from us anymore. It was accompanied by C. HAHAHA. =)) Nevermind. :D
As result, he was really surprised to see us, and the gifts at Gege's place. Yey. He appreciated it. It was a relief! :F At least all my efforts are worth it. :)
Happy Birthday Baby! I love you. :">

My Birthday. :">
Whoa. This one's a super late post. My birthday was last October 24. Now it's November 13. HAHAHA! Oh well. I got too busy cramming for stuffs. By the way, today is my boy's day. So, I'll be making another post later, after this. :)
Okay. My day started quite simple. It was a school day, so it was the usual routine every morning. I got up and fixed myself, then went to school. I was hoping Rommel would be there at our meeting place by the time i get there, so he could be the first to greet me personally. But I got there first. Thank God no one saw me waiting there. So when he arrived, he still was the first to greet me.
Well, the rest of the day was not that interesting. We just had the usual class. But after recess, the whole high school went to the gym for the organization of the teams for the sports fest. There, we got the chance to meet our team mates. It was a little stressful. I was assigned team captain because I am the president of the fourth year, so I was so busy that time. We had to choose the players and talk to the other three presidents and discuss with them several things regarding the upcoming sports fest. This was the flaw on my day. It was too tiring! Gaahd. :|
Anyway. After that, we got back to our rooms and continued our class. Then my adviser told me he wants to meet me after classes at the faculty room. I was a little worried. It got to my nerves. It was my day but then, nothing really good had had happened to me. Everything was out of plan. So anyway, after classes, I got to him. While there, he told me stuffs. And then I suddenly sensed that he was just setting me up. Okay. For the sake of his game, I played with it. I acted as if I don't know anything, though I know something was about to happen. I'm just not sure what that is. So, finally, Rommel fetched me at the faculty. Then my adviser let me go with him. I left my bag in the room, so we went up to grab it.
At the fifth floor, I saw Jaka by the stairs. Everything was quite normal. But suddenly, as I got close to our room, Rommel blind-folded me. Then they took me inside the room. In there, I heard familiar voices, so I was comfortable that they are my friends. They took a couple of shots with me in my blind-fold. It was unfair! I did not get a chance to pose! Haha. Anyway.
After some shots, they escirted me to a chair nearby, I sensed at the center of the room. Nobody was talnking now. Then, I heard a song playing from the background. It was Gemini by Spongecola. At that time, I now knew that this was their plan to surprise me. Listening to that music makes me fall in love. It was so nice for me. So romantic. Suddenly, someone spoke. It was Rommel, my boy. He was reading a letter intended for me. The letter was so sweet. The effect of reading the letter and the song on the background was so romantic. Then, when he was done, he went closer to me. He kissed me on the lips and took off my blind-fold. After opening my eyes, a boquet of roses appeared in front of me. Then, I got up. I hugged him. I hugged my friends. Gaahd. I even cried! I was so flattered by everything. Then, I look around and saw that they also had more for me. They got me a very tasty cake, a scrapbook of birthday message from friends, and a teddy bear from him. Whoa. It was really really flattering.
Then, after that, we went to SM to eat at Pizza Hut. After that, we went to New's party. Well, itwas advanced. So there, we celabrated once more. We had loads of fun. Then SPF surprised the both of us by their late entrance holding two boxes of cake on their hands. By the time we had to go home, I bid them goodbyes, then, New got hold of my cake and gathered everyone. They then lighted the candle on my cake and sang me a birthday song. It was so fun. This day was really memorable. At home, we again celebrated. Yup, my burthday was full of eating, suprises, and eating again. I gt three cakes. Whoa. I sure gained weight that time. Haha.
So there, I had experienced a not so good birthday morning, but eventually was filled in by a great birthday evening. It was the best birthday I had, so far. And I hope the following years would stay the same. Full of happiness. :)

Ultimate Bonding Experience
I was up at about 5:15 am. Okay. I know it was too early for a no school Saturday but Yeah, I am up. Well, I stayed in bed for the next hour and got up at about 6:30, I think. By that time, I started to get ready for a busy day that lies ahead of me. This day, my group mates and I decided to do our TLE task. We are asked to make UBE JAM. And we succeeded. Yey! :D
The "Ultimate Bonding Experience" started right inside our home. My mom suddenly asked me several things about my boyfriend. I was in a horrendous shock to hear her say his name. This only means one thing. They accept the fact that I, their daughter, have him back as my boy. This was a really ultimate bond that evolved for us.
Next is when my Mom and I together with Rommel, my boyfriend, sat in one car. It was like seating in a court room. I was a little anxious because I'm afraid my Mom would ask him something clandestine, but fortunately, she was too busy listening to the radio. She gave us a ride to the market for us to buy the ingredients needed to make the jam. Then, set us off at our group's meeting place. And it ended the Mother-Boyfriend hassle I've been ignoring.
Our meeting place was at Tropical Hut, as usual. There, we waited for the rest of the group. While waiting, we had our breakfast and talked and talked and talked about so many things. We had fun, because they are good company. There present at Tropical was Justine, JC, Gero, Rommel and I. We waited for Chelsea for TWO HOURS. Ugh. She sure was a headache for everyone. Anyway, when we decided to go on without her, there she was running off the bus towards us.
On our way to Teresa, Jaka's crib, the bonding did not stop. The zigzag roads and noise made no hindrance to our talking. We continued our conversation until we realized we had to go down. Before we crossed the street, Gero stepped on Rommel's slippers and it got wrecked. Well, it was the only awful thing that had happened that day. Anyway, we met Jaka in front of their gate. Actually there was no gate, only an alletway that served as an entrance to their house.
The moment we got there, we immediately started with the Ube Jam making. I don't need to articulate how we made it anymore right? So, as I was saying. We made the Jam. While making it, the whole process, we had lots and lots of fun. Laughter here, jokes there. Everywhere was noise and smiles and giggles.
We ate our lunch there. It was different because we had to use our bare hands to eat. It was like a challenge for us, Rommel and I, since we both don't know how to eat without utensils. Eating in one plate made it even harder. We were not actually satisfied with what we had, but it doesn't make sense. The thing is, we had fun.
While waiting for the Jam to be cooked, we exchanged turns in stirring it. While others do what they are asked, others bonded more. Yeah, there was full of bonding there. That is why it's called UBE. We did not only made Ube Jam, we also made UBE, Ultimate Bonding Experience.
There were lots of happenings that occured this day, but those are left for us to be pondered together in another one of our bonding days.
This day was indeed a BLAST!! A great memory to keep for us, Seniors. :">

the blog itself.
"You cannot go on well with your life unless you let go of your past, failures, and heartaches."
Excruciating, something really really painful. Bliss, a state of happiness. But why excruciating bliss? Well, I admit its a bit difficult for me, but anyway, I'll spill it out. Here it goes.
Ever wonder why the sky is blue? Or why the stars shine bright? Why love, in all aspects, always finds a way on how to heal your heart that is broken by itself? There are many cliche's in life. Some may seem to be true, but others are just made up stories to give gloomy people hope.
I have been through many things. There are ups, and mostly downs. But behind all those, is the single faith and hope I have hidden within me. Yes, I am happy and satisfied at the moment. But before I made it up here, I was a poor vanished girl. Everything you say and do counts, especially when it comes to big choices. You need to decide if all these is worth it before making a step. As for me, I believe that every pain will be alleviated by a bizarre pleasure.
Here enters the blog title I chose. Happiness is all around me. But before I got here, I have been drowning in pain. Though while in that deep pain, I hold on to a single strand of happiness, a piece of hope, that someday, hurt will be totally wiped out.
That is love. Pain is mandatory when there is love. Hurt is there to make us stronger. It is there to be a motivation to strive more. Whenever you are hurt, you must not easily give up. Learn to fight the urge of letting go just like that. Remember, that Christ himself experienced pain yet he held on much tighter and deeper because of love. His love for us. His everlasting and ultimate love for us, even though He seemed to be of no worth. This, is the real meaning of love. Giving and expecting nothing in return.
But in spite of all the pain and trouble you are faced with, do believe in fate and destiny. There is always that someone who is reserved for you. Maybe you just have to get through a lot of challenges to be ready to conquer every battle you'll fight with that someone.
Be strong. Behind every mountain lies the valley of success. There will always be a rainbow after the rain, with the pot of gold waiting at the end. There will always be happiness after every tear you shed. Light always shows up, even in the darkest of the night.
